Hey world, it’s been awhile since I have updated this blog :( I have been out enjoying my summer in sunny southern cali. The weather has been an amazing 80-100 degrees and Im loving it. This past 4th of july weekend was a really great kickoff to my summer. Let the parties begin lol. I had the best 4th ever. My friends and I got a box at the angels game and it was absolutely amazing. Im not really into baseball but it was a lot of fun because we didn’t have to stay in our seats we got to walk around and party in our catered suite. We barbequed at my place before the game and I got to show off my betty crocker skills with all my baked goods :). Then we took a limo to anehim, so you know we were getting our drank on and by the time we arrived at the game we were feeling real good. The angels won but my favorite part wasn’t the game, it was the beautiful fireworks display after the game. It was so perfect I really enjoyed myself.

Lets just say Im a very lucky lady!!!!!!! I just received the most beautiful arrangement of flowers. It stands five feet tall wow!!!! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

A while back I shot a couple of scenes for a movie called “Dough Boys” produced by my good friend Preston Whitmore. He directed “This Christmas”, “Doing Hard Time” and a few other great flicks. “Dough Boys” is directed by Nicholas Harvell, staring Wood Harris, Sticky Fingaz, Cory Hardrict, Reagan Gomez-Preston for a full list of credits go to imdb.com. The film debuted on BET monday night but Im sure you can catch it again real soon or you can pick up a dvd copy in stores now. It was a small but fun role. We shot a poker scene at the home of judge Mathis. He has a beautiful mansion that overlooks the whole san fernando valley. We shot at night and the view was absolutely amazing. It’s always a pleasure working with Preston and his crew I’ve worked with them a few times and the shoots are a lot of fun. So check out the movie I hope you like it ;)

Since summer is officially here I thought I should enroll myself in a bootcamp. I found a really great place called Barry’s Bootcamp and I have to tell you they really kick your ass. I have been working out with a trainer and learning to box but this bootcamp is completely different. Barry’s bootcamp has been called the “wait loss secret of the stars” and I believe it. Stacy Dash was in the class this morning and there’s nothing more motivating then working out next to a super fit star. I signed up for the 8am class five days a week. Im motivated and focused on getting that summer, beach body, before the summer is over lol. For some reason I wait until summers here and then I finally get the results I want but its the middle of september. I figure if I stick with this program five days a week I should be good by the end of the month. If you would like more info on the bootcamp you can visit there website at www.barrysbootcamp.com

If you didn’t get a chance to catch “Miss March” in theaters then go pick a copy up today. It’s a hilarious comedy directed/starring the whitest boys of comedy Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore also staring Mr. Hugh Hefner himself. I was blessed with the opportunity to work with these amazing comedians in a drop to your floor scene, for one of the characters “horsedicks” music video.

Horsedick is a rapper who made it big in hollywood after graduating high school. He is the over the top stereotypical rapper with lyrics that would make yo mamma back hand you in 2.1 seconds lol. It was probably the most fun I have ever had on a set. I have been featured in over a dozen videos but this one was supposed to be fun and funny. No trying to be super sexy, more a comedy piece with hysterical moments.

I played a video girl dancing in a barely there outfit and the rapper “horsedick “played by the very talented Craig Robinson was a pimped out, stuntin, gold chain wearing, champaign pouring playa!!!! LMAO I would never participate in a video where the rapper poured champaign on me. I find that very disrespectful, unnecessary, and degrading but since this was a feature film I was 110% in character, ready to shake that tailfeather and submerge myself in the finest sparkling wine known to mand kind :) Good times!!!!!!!!! On tuesday I got the opportunity to work with some really amazing up and coming artists.  We shot a video for the song “relax” by Wax and Emo. They are a duo of a rapper and a beat maker and the track was hot. The video was directed by Casey Chan (myspace.com/chanmanprod). I must say it was a very interesting and fun concept. Myself and another model were the girlfriends of the two artists.  We were flipping burgers, bbq’in in a empty pool lol with a very 70’s vibe to it. There were a few other scenes chillin by the pool blowing bubbles and relaxing. Then came the morning after shots lmao. Hungover looking like a hot mess! But hey it’s all for the arts. It wasn’t the most glamourous look but the video is gonna be funny!  I want to thank everyone for a great shoot and thank you Mike D for the wonderful photos!!!

So summer is just around the corner and every year around this time I like to lighten my hair. Usually I just add some highlights and a little bit of a lighter base but Im really feeling the need for a major change. I love to mix things up and I was thinking about going all out and dyeing my hair light caramel, border line blond???? What do you think? I think it would be a fun change for summer, and you know what they say!!!! BLONDS HAVE MORE FUN!!!!!!!  FYI this is only a wig………….
